Reading Week 5
First, the rules. You will submit two paragraphs on each item except number 2). Paragraph one will be a report of what you understood to be the information, a summary as it were. The second paragraph is what this means to you, what impact it has on your work as a composer/musician/scholar etc.
These are due by 10PM, sent me by email, the Tuesday before our next class. They will be pdf's with YourName_Week#.pdf as the title.
Now for the material I want you to look at.

4. Listen to this CD. It is in the Music Library. Listen to the whole thing and give a short bit, maybe one sentence on each piece. The flautist, Anne La Berge, was in Santa Barbara a few years back. She is an astounding player and these composers are a good cross section of some of the major tenants of of late 20th century music.
